Advanced Clinical & Sports Massage Therapist

Thursdays

Catherine likes mixing different techniques and continually learning and developing her skills.  She sees a wide variety of clients in her work who come to her for a number of different reasons, whether to alleviate general muscular tension, post-operation/injury, to de-stress or relax.  Sports and Remedial, Deep Tissue and Thai massage are all effective forms of treatments for these, just with different approaches.

More specifically, Sports Massage is suitable for many people, whether sporty or not, in that it helps to address muscle imbalance, injuries and general tension.  It involves various muscle, postural and gait assessments where appropriate, deep tissue massage, various types of assisted stretching, and rehabilitation and homecare advice.  It is a good complement to your training programme, as well as simply being a good remedy for muscular tension, whether caused by desk or manual work, etc.

Catherine is available at The Factory N19 Thursdays 1-8pm

Catherine is qualified in the following disciplines:

  • Sports and Remedial Massage/Soft Tissue Therapy (Level 5)
  • Traditional Thai (yoga) Massage
  • Deep Tissue Massage
  • Pregnancy Massage
  • Manual Lymphatic Drainage
